In 1932 the family of Dan Bilany moved to 15 Lakeside Grove, a council house on a recently built estate in West Hull, across Hessle Road in Gypsyville.    This was a three-bedroom semi-detached, fully electric, with an indoor lavatory, and bathroom with hot and cold running water.   In the years 1990-2001 the estate was refurbished.
