Robert (1817-1879),
was baptised at St Mary, Hull, Yorkshire, England, the son of John
Wing (1777-1826)/Jane? (1778-1861) - he had the following two sons:
First
Child. Son Birkett John Wing born Hull c. 1846, birth registered
in the Myton district of Hull under reference MYT/11/465. He married Mary (?) born Hull c.1848 Hull, York, England. Birkett John Wing was
employed as a Shipowners Clerk. This couple had at least the following
seven sons
between 1872 -1889.
First
child. Son Robert A Wing born c.1872 birth registered in the
Myton district of Hull, Yorkshire, under reference MYT/88/145.
Second
Child. Son John M. H. Wing born c. 1876 birth registered in the
Myton district of Hull, Yorkshire, under reference MYT/107/65.
At
the census of 1881 this family were residing at 21 Somerset St, Hessle Road, Hull,
Yorkshire.

Hessle district of Hull, Yorkshire, under reference HES/15/135. He married
Eva L. King at Hull Register Office in 1909, Registration HULL HRO/55/19.

Child. Son Lawrence Hoskins Wing born c. 1884 birth registered
in the Myton district of Hull, Yorkshire, under reference MYT/147/491.
Seventh
Child. Son Oswald S. Wing born c. 1889 birth registered in the
Myton district of Hull, Yorkshire, under reference MYT/168/188.
At
the census of 1891 this family were residing at 32 Regent Street, Hull,
Yorkshire.

Child. William Wing born c.1847
birth registered in the Myton
district of Hull, Yorkshire, under reference MYT/14/180. William married Mary (?) born c. 1846 at Skidby, Yorkshire, England.
William was declared to be a Collector For Hull Dock Company.
This union had at least the following two children between 1874 and 1880.

Child. Son Edward Alphonso Wing born c.1875
birth registered in
the West Sculcoates district of Hull, Yorkshire, under reference
WES/35/453.
Second
Child. Son Samuel Arthur Wing born c.1880 at Hull, Yorkshire.
At
the census of 1881 this family were residing at 5 Heaton Villas, Withernsea,
Yorkshire, England. Residing with them at this time was Dinah Jane
Hollingsworth aged 15 unmarried born at Warlaky, Lincoln, England.
