This branch of the Maulkinsons family can be traced from the late 18th Century to Lincolnshire.  

The probability from historical data is:

William and Ann Maulkinson of Wainfleet, Licolnshire England had the following four children. 

Son  William Maulkinson b.c.1784 (Christened 29th April 1784, Wainfleet All Saints, Lincoln, England).   

Son   Thomas ***Maulkinson b.c.1887Christened 18th January 1787, at Wainfleet All Saints, Lincoln, England). 

Son   John Maulkinson b.c.1791(Christened 17th April 1791, at Wainfleet All Saints, Lincoln, England). 

Daughter   Martha Maulkinson b.c. 1797-1800.   (Christened 5th May 1797, at Wainfleet All Saints, Lincoln, England).

     ***Thomas Aldern Maulkinson born at Wainfleet, Lincolnshire c.1787.    He married.  Mary Gildon of East Keal, Lincolnshire in 1813.   This couple produced at least six children, one of whom was:

Robert Gildon Maulkinson born c. 1817.   Robert married Ann Swaby in 1840.   This union had the following known children.

First Child.     Son Thomas Swaby Maulkinson. born c.1852.   Thomas married Charlotte A. Rowe b.c.1845 at Willoughby, Lincoln, England, daughter of Robert Rowe b.c. 1817 at Gayton Le Marsh, Lincoln, an Innkeeper Builder & Blackksmith and his wife Ann Maria b.c.1819 at Willoughby.   Thomas and Charlotte's known children were:

Son Harwood Henry Maulkinson born at 136 Garibaldi St, Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire on the 29th August 1882 .Source Volume: 7a 
      Page: 673.    At the census of 1891 Harwood is found as follows:Inmate Orphan

     Daughter Charlotte born c. 1877 at Willoughby, Lincoln, England,  At the census of 1881 Charlotte is residing with her grand parents at St Axe & Cleaver Inn Census Place: North Somercotes, Lincoln, England.   With her, is her mother Charlotte, aged 35. Thomas Swaby Maulkinson c.1852 is not found and presumed to have died during the period 1883-1891, for son Harwood is found in an orphanage in 1891 above.  Charlotte (1877) married Len Cooper. (Source: FHL Film 1341778 PRO Ref RG11 Piece 3265 Folio 102 Page 9)   The census of 1891 finds Mother aged 45 and daughter Charlotte aged 15 residing with her brother Richard Rowe.  While her son Harwood is resident at the Hull Ophanage.

Son Thomas Erye Maulkinson born c.1886 married Violet Newberry 1908 at Hull, Yorkshire.   They had a daughter Hilda who married Herbert Watson, who in turn had a son Kevin Watson.

Second Child.  Son Henry Gildon Maulkinson born c.1862. (No Trace)

Third Child.    Harwood Maulkinson born c. 1863 at Willoughby, Lincoln, England.   At the census of 1881 Harwood was employed as an Apprentice (To Builder John H. Foreman) and was residing at: Hamilton Place, Alford, Lincoln, England.   He was unmarried at this time.          (Source: FHL Film 1341777 PRO Ref RG11 Piece 3258 Folio 99 Page 33)  

        In 1890 he married Wilhemina Elizabeth Hodgkin (or Hodgkinson?).b.c.1865 Liverpool  .  Harwood died in 1932. This union produced at least the following children.

Son Harwood Maulkinson born c.1898 at Hull Yorkshire

     *** Harwood Maulkinson born c. 1882, married Charlotte Maud Billany  in 1908 at Sculcoates, Hull, Yorkshire.   Volume: 9d 
      Page: 429.    This couple had at least the following four children.   

     First Child.   Daughter Charlotte M. (Lotte) Maulkinson, born 1909, birth registered at the Hessle district of Hull, Yorkshire, registration HES/72/204. Lotte married Ted (George?) Turner in 1930, they had three children. Daughters Mary and Ann, son John.  Lotte resided at  Hereford Street, Hull, until 1979 when she became ill with cancer.   Daughter Mary looked after her at her home in London until her death in 1982.

    Second Child.   Son Rob Maulkinson, also born 1909, birth registered at the Hessle district of Hull, Yorkshire, registration HES/74/34.   Rob lived and worked most of his life in Hull at one time being a porter at the Royal Station Hotel, Hull, in the early 60's.  His first wife was Sylvia - they had two daughters,  In 1958 he married his second wife  Pauline Lilian Dean, she had one son from a previous relationship.  Terrence Roger Dean born 1945 at Hull - Roger married and had two sons Mark and Peter Dean

     On retirement Rob moved with Pauline to Bridlington, Yorkshire, where he died shortly after.   Pauline Lilian died on 7th January 2008 peacefully in Scarborough Hospital.  Pauline was cremated at Hull 14th January 2008

Third Child.   Son Harwood Henry Maulkinson was born Hull in November 1909, birth registered at the Hessle district of Hull, Yorkshire, in 1910 registration HES/77/17.   He died 30th January 1911 and was buried in a Billany Family plot, grave No 32187 at the Western Cemetery, Hull on the 5th February 1911.  (Source courtesy Hull City Council Burial Services).

  Fourth Child.  Daughter Ada Rowe Maulikinson born January 1912 birth registered at the Hessle district of Hull, Yorkshire, registration HES/80/401.  She died 9th October 1913 aged 1 year 10 months and was buried in the same plot as her brother Harwood, on 12th October 1913.  (Source courtesy Hull City Council Burial Services).

     They were residing at 6 Inchfawn Avenue, Massey Street, Hull, at this time.   

  The family moved to 42 Chiltern Street Hull.   Charlotte remained in the same house until her death in 1952, aged 69
