Mary Ann Fuller was one of eight children born to Samuel and Johanna Fuller at 6, row 85, North Side, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England in December 1875.  

At the UK census of 1881 Mary Ann was shown residing with her mother and siblings - her father was not present.
