Judith the eldest daughter of John Richard and Doris Amy Carter was born 14th August 1942 and baptised at All Saints Church Hessle, East Yorkshire on 6th September 1942.  As a young girl  she was educated at Hessle, High School.    Judith began her career has a hairdresser at the age of 15, the year she met her to be husband.   She married Trevor Cressey on the 10th September 1960, aged 18.

Lance was born 23rd August 1961 and Adrian came along 29th October 1964.   For some years Judith and the two boys followed Trevor around the world until his retirement from service life.

Judith's love of hairdressing returned and she bought a ladies hairdressing salon in Gypsyville, Hull.  As a coincidence this salon had previously been owned by a cousin of Trevor, namely Mavis Cotton,  this was not known at the time.

When the family had grown up and fled the nest, Judith and Trevor  settled down to a well earned retirement.   However Grandchildren arrived and Judith squared the circle putting her heart and soul into the learning curve of Jamie,  LukeMegan and Madison
