Geraldine the youngest daughter of John Richard and
Doris Amy
Carter was born 18th April 1947 at Hessle, East Yorkshire.
As a young girl she was educated at Hessle High School.
Geraldine
began a career as a Seamstress at the age of 15. She
married Frank Bosman on the 15th May 1965 aged 18.
Frank was in the RAF and immediately after the wedding they moved
to Cyprus. On retirement from the RAF, Frank joined
HMP and they moved first to Aylesbury and on to
Sudbury. Peter was born 19 Oct 71,
James came along 7th July 1974.
After the death of Doris, (Geraldine's mother, in 1978),
Geraldine and Frank
bought the family home at South Lane,
Hessle.
Frank worked out of HMP Everthorpe.
However family unity was not to be and the couple divorced in 1983. Frank moved on. Geraldine remained
in the family home with the two boys.
Father Richard, also moved in.

South Lane, Hessle, was sold shortly after the death of Richard
in 1997 and Geraldine moved to another property further
down South Lane with her partner Barry Claxton.
