Bean b.c. 1874 is now

Cottage, Sledmere. Aged
24, 'Living on own means'? 10
years earlier he had been a

Yorkshire.

thought that Marjorie married Norman.

Early life was spent in the Hull area . The family mythology goes, that the
Roantrees' had a colourful history spending their years, especially between the first and
second world wars, selling contraband products.
Playing life's little games close to the edge.

They lived
during this period at Howden,Yorkshire. Harry being the manager
of the local Co-op
It is not known when Harry Roantree died but it appears to be
early 1960s when Anne returned to Hull to live in Maud's old house 42 Chiltern Street,
Hull. Annie lived into her
nineties.
