       Home to the early Carter/Billany families from 1891-1964

Clan of Chiltern Strret, Hull, c.1920

      This photo was taken c.1920.   It is of the majority of males residing down Chiltern Street at this time.   Most are unknown.   Should you recognise anyone, would appreciate details.

   

The houses in Chiltern Street, Hull, demolished during the early 1970's to make way for the extended ground facilities of Hull Rugby Football Club. 

     

The name Chiltern Street, Hull, is still featured on the city plan although it extends only 40 metres or so.   There are few residential properties remaining.

The school attended by the Billany/Carter children in the early 1900s.   It is also the school in which Dan Billany (Author) taught from 1938.
