William Beckett (1791-1833) <Any name highlighted on 'mouse over' will lead you to a profile of that person> Introduction - Potted History- Beginnings The Beckett family is traced from the late 17th, early eighteenth century, originating from Norfolk, England. William Beckett (Bapt 9th March 1791) (1791-1833) the seventh child of Thomas Beckett and Sarah Goodwin at Yarmouth Norfolk. William married Sarah Moore on the 27th June 1817 at Gt Yarmouth Norfolk. Witnesses to this marriage were Elizabeth Murry, Martha Dann and Mary Dan Beckett. This union had the following children between 1813-1816. William was declared to be a "Sailor". First Child. Sarah Beckett b.c. 1813 at Gt Yarmouth, Norfolk. (Bapt 13th July 1813) Second Child. Son Thomas Beckett b.c.1813 at Gt Yarmouth, Norfolk. (Bapt 30th April 1814) Third Child. Mary Ann Beckett b.c.1815 at Gt Yarmouth, Norfolk. (Bapt 14th July 1815) Fourth Child. Son William Draper Beckett b.c.1816 at Gt Yarmouth, Norfolk.
