second son of
William
Bean and Margaret Cowthert.
On 8th February 1810 he married Elizabeth Sherwood born 6th May 1776 at
Lastingham, North Yorkshire. Elizabeth was the daughter of Samuel Sherwood
and Bella Simpson.
This couple had the following
seven children between 1811-1828.
