   William Billany born Hollym, East Yorkshire, England c.1798.   On the 19th May 1823 at Hollym Cum Withernsea, Yorkshire, England.  (Source M107221, 0919456,  6910944) he married Jemima Simmonds b.c. 1800 at Withernsea, Yorkshire.  England.   Jemima was Christened 28th Dec 1800 at Hollym Cum Withernsea, Yorkshire, England.  She was the daughter of Ann Simmonds.

This union produced at least 7 children.   

First Child.   Son William Billany b.c. 1824 Hollym, Yorkshire, England.   

Second Child   Son George Billany b.c. 1828 Hollym, Yorkshire, England.   

Third Child   Daughter Ann Billany b. c. 1831 Christening 17th July 1831, Hollym, Withernsea.

Fourth Child   Daughter Esther Billany b. c. 1834  Christening: 22 JUN 1834 Hollym Cum Withernsea, Yorkshire, England.

Fifth Child    Son Lawrence Billany b.c.1838 Hollym,  Patrington, Yorkshire, England. (source DRY/11/211)   

Sixth Child   Son Charles Billany b. c.1840  Preston, Hull, Yorkshire.    

Seventh Child   Daughter Eliza Billany b.c.1845 Christening: 14th Sep 1845 Hollym Cum Withernsea, Yorkshire, England. 

At the UK census of 1841 this family were residing at Old Turnpike Road, Preston, Hull, Yorkshire, with their youngest children.

William Billany (1798-1866) was variously described as a  Inn Keeper in 1841 then a farmer of some 4 acres in 1861.  He died June 1866.  

At the UK census of 1871Jemima was residing with her Son Wiliam and his wife Mary and Daughter Jemima  at Patrington Yorkshire. (Aged 70).
